Mr. Vladimir Filipov, CEO, established NearSoft Ltd. in 2006. He holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Automation and boasts over 25 years of experience in the software industry. For the past 18 years, he has been dedicated to the global promotion and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems, contributing significantly to ABB’s emergence as a world leader in Collaborative Production Management. Before founding NearSoft, Mr. Filipov served as the Global Product Manager at ABB. He is also an esteemed member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM). Furthermore, Mr. Filipov is a prominent Industry 4.0 advocate and leading expert in the field, actively advising the Ministry of Economy on Bulgaria’s ‘Industry 4.0 Strategy.’ He additionally spearheads the Industry 4.0 working group at BAIT (Bulgarian Association for Information Technologies) and has authored numerous scientific papers on this subject.
